Would you like to have coffee with a Durham cop?

Oshawa: Grab a cup of joe and pull up a seat at one of four locations in North Durham. ‘Coffee with a Cop’ is providing residents with the opportunity to meet with a DRPS officer in a casual environment to chat about concerns, issues and ideas regarding policing and community safety.

Every Tuesday of the month, an officer from North Division will be visiting a coffee shop in different municipalities. Dubbed Coffee with a Cop, the program aims to build a connection between police and residents.

WHERE:
First Tuesday of the month: Coffee Time (23 Brock Street West, Uxbridge)
Second Tuesday: Queen Beans (180 Queen Street, Port Perry)
Third Tuesday: Holy Grounds (1 Cameron Street West, Cannington)
Fourth Tuesday: Tim Hortons (21800 Island Road, Scugog Island)

WHEN: 10 a.m. to noon
