Quarrel leads to stabbing at Oshawa home

Durham police yesterday said a man is facing charges after stabbing another male at a residence in Oshawa.

On Wednesday, February 4, members of Central East Division responded to an armed person call in the area of Athol Street East and Ritson Road South.

A male stabbed another male after a verbal altercation inside a residence. Officers arrived on scene and took the suspect into custody without incident. The victim suffered serious injuries and was treated by emergency medical personnel.

The 60-year old man from Oshawa was held for a bail hearing. Name and further details available at www.drps.ca.
