Officers from DRPS Central East Division, who found a female dog at 4 am during a blizzard in Oshawa, says she has been reunited with her owner.
“Priscilla has been reunited with her owner. She managed to escape from a fenced area,”said a DRPS tweet this morning.
Last night, the police said a citizen observed a red car drop the dog off at Wilson Road and Hillcroft and drive away.
“We are not sure if the red vehicle was involved or just trying to help. There appears to be no malicious intent in this case. We are happy that she was able to be reunited with her owner,” said the police today.
“She was found by me, I called the police that night. Going out at 1:30 am too have a smoke it was pure luck I walked out at the time to witness it. — she is extremely friendly, very cute! We brought her in and she wanted only to get out and find her owners…it was very sad and broke my heart…it was a blizzard outside!” tweeted Josh Garrow, who initially found Priscilla.
Police officers took Priscilla to a clinic last night and said she was happy and healthy. She was left with the Oshawa Animal Services.
