Eleven children have made it to the last round of the annual Chief For a Day contest organised by Durham Region Police Services (DRPS).
The finalists came to Regional HQ yesterday to read their essays to the judges, including Chief Martin.
They were also treated to a presentation from the DRPS K-9 Unit.
The winner will be announced next week.
