Oshawa teen zips past police radar at 151 km/hr

Apparently, it is still summer and adrenaline is still flowing strong in the bloodstream of an Oshawa teen who was clocked doing 151 kilometres an hour by Durham Police.

But he still was not fast enough and was caught.

On Harmony Road in Oshawa at around midnight, a 17-year-old Oshawa driver had his drivers licence suspended, said a statement from the police.

The teen’s parents suffered collateral damage as their Honda Civic car [which the teen had been driving] was impounded for seven days.

Police said the teen was clocked on radar at 151 km/hr in a posted 80 km/hr zone.
