DRPS Traffic Services yesterday got one more stunt driver off Durham roads.
A brief statement said the above vehicle was captured on radar at 113kmh in a 50kmh zone.
Not only was it 63kmh higher than the speed limit, it was coming up a hill on a winding country road that was also wet at the time, police said.
The driver was charged with stunt (for the second time) and their vehicle was impounded for 14 days.
No further details were released.
Road Closure
Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) last evening announced a road closure in Oshawa.
Eastbound lanes at the intersection of Adelaide and Division were closed for some time.
Police thanked road users for avoiding the area, but did not release any further details.
The road was reopened later.
