Durham police yesterday said a male is facing several charges after an armed robbery at a fast-food restaurant in Oshawa.
On Monday, January 26, around 10:50 pm, members of Central East Division responded to an armed person call at the Church’s Chicken located at 70 King Street East.
A male armed with a knife entered the restaurant and demanded cash from an employee. Officers arrived on scene and took the suspect into custody.
No physical injuries were reported. The 22-year old man from Oshawa was held for a bail hearing. Name and further details available at www.drps.ca.
