The City of Oshawa has received applications from RG Consulting on behalf of 407 AT7 Centre for a large industrial development on Thornton Road.
The purpose of these applications is to implement an industrial draft plan of subdivision which proposes to create 17 blocks consisting of 12 employment blocks, a stormwater management pond block, four open space blocks, and one arterial road and two local roads, said a city announcement.
Lands from AG-A (Agricultural) are asked to be zoned to appropriate zones to implement the proposed draft plan of subdivision.
The applications require approval of a Draft Plan of Subdivision, as well as amendment of Zoning By-law 60-94 for lands at 2860 Thornton Road North.
The applications have been determined to be complete and a notice of public meeting under the Planning Act will be advertised separately at a future date, said the city.
It informed residents that if you wish to be notified of the decision of the City of Oshawa in respect of this proposed plan of subdivision or zoning by-law amendment, you must make a written request to the Commissioner, Economic and Development Services Department, 50 Centre Street South, Oshawa, Ontario L1H 3Z7.
