Liquor will be served at the next Generals game

Tribute Communities Centre’s (TCC) in Oshawa was forced to go dry last weekend for the Oshawa Generals game.

The City of Oshawa said it has been informed by Oak View Group (OVG) that, due to an administrative error, the TCC liquor licence has expired.

As a result, alcohol service was not be available last weekend for the Oshawa Generals Hockey game on Sunday, February 8.

OVG anticipates they will have regular alcohol service for their next event, which is the Oshawa Generals Hockey on Friday, February 13.

OVG has the responsibility for obtaining and maintaining the liquor licence on behalf of the City for the TCC.
