A ‘Pop Up’ Program location within Pickering Town Centre, on the upper level, across from Dollarama, has been opened by the City of Pickering Community Services Department, in partnership with Amica Lifestyles Pickering and Cushman Wakefield.
This location will host programs and activities for adults 55+, both drop in and registered. Registered programs begin the week of January 20 and drop in programs begin Monday, January 6, running weekdays from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm, said a city announcement.
Registered programs include Coffee Chat, Euchre and PartyCipation – you can register online at pickering.ca/active for Coffee Chat and Euchre, PartyCipation registration is through Eventbrite.ca. Drop in opportunities include, but are not limited to, scrabble, cards, chess, checkers, puzzles and dominos.
