Two lucky Durham residents –from Ajax and Newtonville respectively — are one step closer to collecting their lottery prizes, according to OLG Winners.
Wei Long Wang of Ajax is claiming two lottery wins of $15,800 each with Pick 4 on October 17, 2019. His total winnings are $31,600.
The ticket was purchased at Sam’s Food Store & Smoker Discount on Hunt Street in Ajax.
As Wei Long’s wife and mother are employees at authorized OLG retailers, this prize falls within OLG’s definition of an Insider Win.
The claimant has completed the first step of a two-step Insider Win process, which included enhanced scrutiny of the prize claim.
To complete the prize claim, the prize will be held for a 30-day waiting period as part of OLG’s Insider Win process, in order for OLG to publicize the win. If there are no additional claims on this prize it will be paid to the claimant on February 14.
Newtonville Resident
Cherie Lucas of Newtonville is also one step closer to claiming a lottery win of $25,000 with Instant Bling (Game #2098).
As Cherie is an employee at an authorized OLG retailer, this prize falls within OLG’s definition of an Insider Win. Cherie did not purchase or validate the ticket at her place of employment.
The ticket was purchased at All In One Convenience on King Avenue in Newcastle.
As of today’s date, the claimant has completed the first step of a two-step Insider Win process, which included enhanced scrutiny of the prize claim.
If there are no additional claims on this prize it will be paid to the claimant on February 14.
