Albany Street stabbing suspect arrested

Durham Police have arrested an 18-year-old in connection with a stabbing in Oshawa Wednesday morning.

On February 26 at about 8:46 am, members of Central East Division responded to the area of Albany Street and Albert Street in Oshawa for a male with injuries to his arms. It was later determined that there was an altercation at a residence on Lviv Boulevard involving the victim and three other males. The 38-year-old male victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, said a police media release.

Police arrested the suspect involved in the stabbing incident. A male and female were arrested at the scene who were wanted on unrelated outstanding warrants.

Kennedy Kentner of Oshawa, is charged with: Aggravated Assault; Breach of Undertaking x2; Possession of Weapons Dangerous and Assault with a Weapon. He was held for a bail hearing.
