Go, give your input to Durham’s new strategic plan

Whitby: The Regional Municipality of Durham is renewing its five-year strategic plan and will be hosting a town hall discussion in Scugog Township.

Local community organizations, businesses and residents are invited to share their ideas and provide input about the future of Durham Region. The strategic plan is an important framework document that will help guide the Region’s decision-making and allocation of resources over the next five years.

When: Friday, July 5, from 1 to 2 p.m.
Where: Scugog Community Recreation Centre,1655 Reach Street, Port Perry.
Why: The Durham Region Strategic Plan is a guiding document that will help identify priorities for Regional Council, while creating a framework for the organization’s service planning and delivery.

Residents are encouraged to visit durham.ca/YourVoice to participate in the Strategic Plan Community Survey and look under the “Key Dates” section to express their interest in attending this town hall discussion.
