The City of Pickering has announced road closures and parking restrictions for the 2026 Easter Parade on Saturday, April 4.
In order to ensure a safe, functional, and enjoyable event for the participants and the public, the City of Pickering is enacting temporary road closures and parking restrictions in the area along the parade route from 8 am to 1 pm.
The parade will be routed through Annland Street, Krosno Boulevard, Alyssum Street, Lublin Avenue, Parkham Crescent, and Sandy Beach Road. In an effort to minimize any inconvenience, we have attached an event schedule and map for your information.
Temporary access to the parade route area will be provided for area residents and businesses prior to the start of the parade. No vehicle access will be permitted along the parade route during the parade, the city said.
To ensure public safety, and that all temporary traffic measures are adhered to, Durham Regional Police Services, as well as Municipal Law Enforcement Services will be on-site during the event.
