The Wizard of Oz

Diversified Theatre, a local not-for-profit theatre board-approved group, brings live theatre to schools in the Durham region. This year more than 5,800 schoolchildren will see its show, the Wizard of Oz, at the Whitby Courthouse Theatre.
We provide educational packages to teachers so that a formal learning framework can be applied to the live theatre experience. We have dancers in the show aged 6 to 16, all drawn from local dance studios, plus local singing and acting talent.
To raise money to support our work, it is staging performances for the general public from 27th to 31st December in Whitby.
