Oshawa Fire Services (OFS) had to get into action early yesterday morning to put out a fire which broke out along Albert Street in Oshawa.
It took a couple of hours to contain the fire.
“The fire is out on Albert Street and most trucks have cleared the scene,” said an OFS tweet some two hours after the first intimation.
However, fighting fires was not the only job that Oshawa Fire Service crews engaged in this week.
This week off duty Oshawa Firefighters helped distribute more than 100 meal kits to the community.
