The Toronto Police Service has advised the public of an ongoing series of robberies involving food delivery people taking place next door to Durham in the area around Morningside Avenue and Sewells Road.
Since Friday, January 10, Toronto Police Service has received multiple reports that requests were made to deliver food to addresses in the area.
A group of people wait for the food delivery person at the specified addresses. The group then proceeds to rob the delivery person of the food, before fleeing the area, said a police release.
In some cases, the group made threats towards the delivery person and brandished a weapon.
