Durham Police has issued an appeal to residents to help catch a thief who stole from a GO bus in Bowmanville late last month.
On September 27, in Clarington, the complainant was working as a GO bus transit driver. The suspect was picked up in the Oshawa area and driven to the area of Division Street and King Street in Bowmanville, police said.
When exiting the bus, the suspect grabbed a leather bag belonging to the complainant and fled the scene.
The suspect is described as: male white, mid 20s, approx. 5′ tall, medium build, short brown hair, clean shaven and wearing a dark colored jacket.
