Help identify man wanted in sexual assault case

The Toronto Police Service has released a surveillance picture of a suspect and is asking if anyone knows the man wanted in a sexual assault investigation.

On Thursday, September 5 at 2:05 pm, officers responded to a call for a sexual assault at the intersection of Bay Street and Queens Quay West.

A woman was walking southbound on Bay Street and Queens Quay West area when she was approached by an unknown man who sexually assaulted the woman and fled the area.

The suspect is described as approximately 5’7″, 160 lbs., with a full brown and grey beard. He was wearing a pair of gold, round sunglasses, a black hat, black clothing and carrying a black back pack.

Cherry Beach sexual assault

On Sunday, September 15, between 4 am. and 5 am, a woman was walking on the Martin Goodman Trail between Cherry Beach and Regatta Road when she was sexually assaulted by an unknown man.

Earlier in the month on Sunday, September 1, in the early morning hours, another woman was sexually assaulted by an unknown man in the same area

The suspect is described as 25 to 30 years-of-age, 5’7” – 5’8”, with a brown skin tone, stocky build, round face, clean shaven, with brown eyes and full lips. In at least one instance he was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt with the hood up and dark-coloured track pants.

Police are seeking help identifying this man.

21-year old held for drug rape

A man and woman met at a bar in the downtown area of Toronto where the woman was administered a drug without her knowledge. The man then took the woman to a hotel where she was sexually assaulted.

On Friday, September 20, Zhuxi Shen, also known as Mark, 21, of Toronto, was arrested. He is charged with:

1. Sexual Assault
2. Administer Drug

Police are concerned there may be other victims.
