These cars may be related to gun-point home invasion

Durham Police are releasing surveillance photos of two vehicles they believe are connected to a home invasion in Oshawa in April this year.

They are looking for any new information any member of the public may have on the investigation.

On Thursday, April 4 at 1:40 am, members of East Division responded to a residence near Arborwood Drive and Woodstream Avenue in Oshawa for reports of a home invasion. According to the victim, while he was sitting outside of his residence, he was approached by a male who repeatedly asked if he had ordered pizza. The suspect was then asked to leave and at this point he pulled out a handgun.

Five masked males ran towards the house and they all forced their way in. The victim’s family were at home, but were already asleep. The suspects held the victim at gunpoint while they asked questions about a man they were looking for.

It is believed the suspects were travelling in these vehicles prior to the home invasion.

Anyone with any new information is asked to contact D/Cst. Bycok of the East Division Criminal Investigations Bureau at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 1605.
