Man buys consoles with stolen PC Optimum points

The Durham Region Police Services (DRPS) is requesting assistance from the public in identifying a suspect in relation to a fraud incident, which occurred in Oshawa on May 10.

The suspect [depicted in the attached photo] visited a Real Canadian Super Store in Oshawa and purchased several PS4 game consoles. It was later determined the purchases were made using PC Optimum points that were fraudulently obtained from hacked PC Optimum accounts, said a DRPS statement.

Full description of suspect(s): Male, white, early 20s with a slim-average build. He has dark facial hair on his chin and was wearing a black zippered hoodie with white details and a white toque.
