Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) is asking the public to help solve a crime of attempted break-ins.
They are asking Durham residents to identify from a camera grab, a suspect who was recorded trying to open garage doors on Snowling Drive in Ajax. He was also observed attempting to pry door handles of vehicles.
The suspect was unsuccessful and fled the area.
Officers of DRPS West Division are looking to identify this male. If you have info please call 905-579-1520 ext. 3746, said a police tweet.
“These homeowners locked their vehicles and had everything secured. Protect yourself !!” it added.
The suspect is described as male, white, 5’10” tall. 20-25 years old. He wore a grey or light brown baseball cap, grey and black hooded sweater, black pants, black shoes with a white Nike emblem and a black backpack.
