A Durham mother has to go without her car for a week as her son was caught doing 155 km/h in a 80 kmph zone.
On Monday, an officer from Durham Police Central West Division clocked the 17-year-old over-speeding, He seized the teen’s drivers licence and his mother’s vehicle, which the boy was driving, for 7 days.
The teen was caught driving on Thickson Road by Highway 407.
DRPS said the boy also got a “hefty fine” but did not reveal the amount.
“Please drive according to the limit,” said the police.
