Oshawa Fire Services (OFS) last evening successfully battled a fire, smoke from which threatened nearby residents. However, no injuries were reported.
Residents in the area of Viewmount Street and Olive Avenue should close their windows as the smoke from this fire is low lying, said OFS.
Earlier, its crews responded to the report of a shed fire around Olive Ave/Viewmount St. Please stay clear of the area, it said.
“Crews are winding down operations on Viewmount St. No injuries to report. Proud of the great work all our crews did at this difficult fire,” said an OFS tweet.
