Occupants extricated from crashed car in Oshawa

Oshawa Fire Services (OFS) yesterday had to use their skills to extricate the occupants from a car that had crashed in Oshswa.

“Earlier today crews responded to this motor vehicle collision. Occupants were extricated quickly and placed in the care of Durham Paramedic. Great job by everyone involved!” said a tweet from OFS.

The incident happened near Gibbons Street.

No further details were made available.

Moose Sighting

Meanwhile, the Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) said a moose had been sighted in Scugog.

“Traffic Hazard Scugog. Stray moose spotted on Simcoe St south of Whitfield Rd.,” said a DRPS tweet.
