One arrested for Clarington murder, other wanted

Durham police homicide investigators have arrested one male suspect and continue to look for the second suspect in a 2018 homicide.

On September 10, 2018 at approximately 2:30 pm, officers were called to a residence on Old Scugog Road, north of Hampton in the Municipality of Clarington. A 29-year-old, with obvious signs of trauma, was rushed to a nearby hospital but could not be revived, said a police statement issued yesterday.

Investigators have arrested and charged a male who was 17-years-old at the time of the offence and continue to search for the second male.

On Monday, August 10, a 19-year-old of Toronto was arrested and is charged with Second-Degree Murder.

The wanted suspect is described as: male, black, thin build. He was observed wearing cargo pants, a dark sweater and a toque.
