Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) said a pet food store in Pickering was robbed on Friday.
Officers from DRPS West Division responded to the Family Pet Food store on Kingston Road in Pickering for a commercial robbery, said a DRPS tweet on Friday.
It said there were no reported injuries.
The male suspect left in a blue vehicle, it said adding that there was no mention of weapons.
Police said they will provide further details later. “More to follow.”
