Road restrictions have been announced for Pickering, Ajax, Whitby and Clarington.
The Regional Municipality of Durham announced eastbound and westbound lane restrictions on Dundas Street East in the Town of Whitby.
When: June 25 to 26 (day and night)
Where: Dundas Street East, from Kantium Way to 100 meters west of Kantium Way, in the Town of Whitby.
Why: To safely repair an existing sanitary sewer.
Note: Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
Road closure on Fishlock Street in Ajax
The Regional Municipality of Durham said the temporary road closure on Fishlock Street due to ongoing construction at Harwood Avenue North, from Kerrison Drive West to Rossland Road West, in the Town of Ajax,will continue into today.
A new watermain is being constructed.
Ninth Concession Road lane restrictions
Pickering announced lane restrictions on Ninth Concession Road at Sideline 12, to Lake Ridge Road, to 36 m South of Ninth Concession Road
Purpose: Concession Road 9 (R.R. 5) between Sideline 12 and Lake Ridge Road will require lane restrictions for culvert replacement and roadway rehabilitation.
Duration: July 6, 2020 at 8 am to September 25, at 3 pm
Southfield Avenue to close for utility work
Southfield Avenue in Clarington will close between Roswell Drive and Prestonvale Road from June 29 to July 3, 2020, while the Region of Durham performs utility work.
A detour will be available via alternate local roads.
