Rossland lanes reduced, Brock Road closed

Whitby: The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department said there are lane restrictions on Rossland Road West (Regional Road 28), in Oshawa.

  • When: Aug. 14 to 30.
  • Where: Eastbound and westbound lane restrictions on Rossland Road West, from Thornton Road North (Regional Road 52) to 150 metres west of Thornton Road North, in Oshawa.
  • Why: To construct a new road entrance in support of new development.

Portion of Brock Road in Claremont closed

Brock Road (Regional Road 1) will be closed, at the rail crossing between Central Street (Regional Road 5) and Uxbridge Pickering Townline Road.

  • When: Thursday, August 15.
  • Where: Brock Road will be closed, at the rail crossing between Central Street and Uxbridge Pickering Townline Road, in Pickering.
  • Why: Canadian Pacific Railway is performing emergency track repair work.

Note: Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and construction workers.
