The Scugog Dog Park will be closed on Thursday, January 28th for maintenance.
The Township of Scugog’s new off-leash dog park is located behind the Scugog Community Recreation Centre at 1655 Reach Street, beside Carolyn Best Ball Diamonds.
Park Hours: Dawn to Dusk
Dog Park Rules:
Users of the Off-Leash Dog Park do so at their own risk. Dog handlers are legally responsible for the safety, conduct, and any injuries or damage caused by the dog(s) under their care. Please ensure compliance with the following rules:
- Be courteous and respect the rights of all users.
- Dogs must be leashed when entering and leaving the off-leash area.
- All dogs must be under the control of their handlers at all times.
- Any persons entering the leash free area do so at their own risk.
- Parents, keep a watchful eye on your children.
- All dogs must be licensed and fully vaccinated
- Dogs in heat, sick dogs and aggressive dogs are prohibited from the park.
- Immediately pick up after your dog and dispose of waste in the designated containers;
- Protect wildlife and vegetation.
- All users are subject to The Township of Scugog Animal Control By-law.
