Have your say on Oshawa city budget priorities

Oshawa is preparing the 2021 budget and says it wants to hear from residents and property owners, who can share their priorities on key program and service areas during their ward-specific virtual Budget Open House:

  • Online by visiting https://oshawa.webex.com on a desktop or laptop computer, entering the ward-specific access code and then the event password.
  • On the WebEx Meetings app on a mobile device, selecting Join Meeting and entering the ward-specific access code. Users may be asked to enter the event password.

Those choosing to access by desktop or laptop computer or the WebEx Meetings app will be able to submit priorities and questions live through the WebEx Q&A tool.

Residents and property owners can also choose to listen in to the Open House by:

  • Calling the toll free phone number and entering the ward-specific access code followed by #.
  • Tuning in to watch on Rogers TV Durham (Cable 10 and HD510).

Those choosing to access the virtual Budget Open House by calling in toll free or watching via Rogers TV Durham who have questions to submit must provide them in advance to Corporate Communications by email or by calling 905-436-3311 ext. 5686.

We hope you will join your Ward Councillors during your Ward’s virtual Budget Open House to share your priorities.”

“Every year the City seeks input from residents about their budget priority and Covid-19 will not stop the process,” said Councillor John Gray, Chair of the Finance Committee. “Please participate in our Ward by Ward input sessions.”
