Shot man dropped off at Oshawa intersection

Durham police are investigating after a Toronto man was dropped off at an Oshawa intersection suffering from a gunshot wound on Friday.

On July 3 at about 10:45 pm, paramedics were flagged down by a male suffering from a gunshot wound at the intersection of Bloor Street East and Ritson Road South in Oshawa. The 27-year-old male victim advised responding police officers that he had been dropped off at the location in a black Honda and could not recall where in Oshawa the shooting took place, said a police statement.

He was rushed to a Toronto trauma centre with non-life threatening injuries. Further details have not been forthcoming and the investigation continues.
