A male and a female are facing charges after a firearm investigation concluded with the seizure of a shotgun, rifle and cocaine, said Durham police.
Members of the Gun and Gang Unit commenced a gun investigation in March 2020 and executed a search warrant at a hotel on Bloor Street in Oshawa. Police recovered a rifle, shotgun and a small quantity of cocaine.
Kenneth Dupont, age 36 and Kendra Sevenko, age 22, both of Oshawa faces 20 criminal charges including: Careless Storage of Firearm x2; Store Firearm Contrary to Regulations; Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm and Possession of a Schedule I Substance. They were held for a bail hearing.
