Durham Police investigators are trying to identify two suspects involved in a commercial robbery overnight.
On Sunday at 10:50 pm, members of West Division responded to a robbery at the Shell gas station on Salem Road South and Highway 401 in Ajax. Two suspects entered the store one armed with a knife and both jumped the counter and made a demand for cash. The suspects fled the store with cigarettes and cash.
K-9 searched the area with negative results.
Suspect #1 is described as male, black, slim build, approximately 5’9″ tall. He was wearing a black-hooded sweater, sunglasses, blue jeans, ski mask and was armed with a knife.
Suspect #2 is described as male, black, slim build, approximately 5’9″ tall. He was wearing a black-hooded sweater, grey track pants, black shoes and a ski mask.
