Teen injured in Saturday night shooting in Oshawa

A 16-year-old male was shot near an apartment on Hill Rise Court in Oshawa on Saturday morning is now recovering from his injuries.

On September 27 at 12:35 am, members of Central West responded to a residential complex on Hill Rise Court in Oshawa for a shooting. Police found a 16-year-old male with serious injuries. The victim was shot outside the complex by an unknown suspect. It is believed that the suspect(s) left in a vehicle at a high rate of speed. The victim was taken to a Toronto-area trauma center with serious but non-life threatening injuries and has since been released.

The suspect is described as male, black, 5’8″ to 6′ tall, average build. He was wearing a light-grey hooded sweater, dark pants and observed running to a dark blue older four-door vehicle with a modified exhaust.
