These students show that ‘honesty does pay’

Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) has handed back $2,000 in cash that three kids found and turned in.

Praising the honesty of the youngsters, DRPS said last week: “Honesty Does Pay – These students turned in over $2,000 in cash found in Oshawa in 2019.”

After several months of efforts made to find the owner, investigators at DRPS Central East Division
handed the boys the cash they found.

“Some of the boys even donated a portion to charity,” added a DRPS tweet.
