3 Clarington teens charged in Bowmanville stabbing

Three teens are facing charges after a stabbing in Bowmanville Friday night.

On August 2 at 11:05 pm, members of East Division responded to a stabbing in the area of Longworth Avenue and Swindell Street in Bowmanville. A 20-year-old male was located with serious injuries. The victim and several suspects were involved in an altercation which resulted in the victim being stabbed.

The suspects fled from the scene and were located with the assistance of Air1. The suspects were arrested a short time after.

The victim was transported to a Toronto-area trauma center in critical condition.

Two 15-year-olds and a 17-year-old, all from Clarington, were charged with Aggravated Assault and Possession of Weapons Dangerous.

They were released on a Promise to Appear.
