Whitby: The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department has advised of a weekend road closure on Taunton Road (Regional Road 4), in the City of Pickering.
When: Friday, August 9 at 7 pm to Monday, August 12 at 5 am, Exact times are approximate.
Where: Taunton Road, from Burkholder Drive to Whites Road North, in Pickering.
Why: Watermain and storm sewer crossing installation to support new development.
Lane restrictions on Whites Road in Pickering
When: Work is scheduled to begin July 29 and should be complete by September 6.
Where: There will be lane restrictions on Whites Road, from Dunfair Street to Finch Avenue, in the City of Pickering.
Why: Road resurfacing.
Lane restrictions on Thickson Road North in Whitby
When: Work is scheduled to begin July 31 and should be complete by September 30. Work will be completed during the daytime only, and lane restrictions will be intermittent as required.
Where: Thickson Road North, at the Winterberry Drive intersection, in the Town Whitby.
Why: To install a storm sewer in support of new development.
