Two Ajax teens charged for threatening homeowner

Two teens with knives were arrested at an Ajax high school after they threatened a nearby homeowner on Wednesday.

On October 23  at 1:40 pm, members of West Division responded to an armed person call in the area of Harwood Avenue South and Ontario Street in Ajax. A 15-year-old male and a 14-year-old male were in the homeowner’s backyard shed and when they were asked to leave, they threatened the victim and flashed their knives. The victim contacted police and the two teens were later arrested at Dennis O’Connor High School in Ajax.

The 14-year-old and the 15-year-old males both from Ajax have been charged with: Assault with a Weapon; Possession of Weapons Dangerous; Carry Concealed Weapon and Utter Death Threats. The 14-year-old was held for a bail hearing and the 15-year-old was released on a Promise to Appear.
