Region of Durham has announced the upcoming road closure of Bloor Street East, from Wilson Road South to Ritson Road South, in Oshawa City.
It will be closed for watermains and sanitary sewer work. Businesses will remain open during construction, the region said in a tweet.
It did not provide a time frame for the works.
Clarington:
Riley Road is scheduled to close at the CN Rail crossing between Metcalf Street and Lakeshore Road starting at 7 am on August 7 until 5 pm on August 13. CN Rail crossing rehabilitation work will be taking place. A detour will be available via alternate local roads.
Lane restrictions on Thickson Road North in Whitby
The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of northbound and southbound lane restrictions on Thickson Road North (Regional Road 26) in the Town of Whitby.
- When: August 4 to October 30, 2020 (day and night work).
- Where: Thickson Road North, from Dryden Boulevard to Winterberry Drive, in the Town of Whitby.
- Why: To safely install water and sanitary service, as well as a concrete median and entrance in support of a new development.
