An unmarked urn containing ashes has been found abandoned in Whitby, according to Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS).
It said its officers from the Central West Division are trying to find the rightful owner of the wooden urn containing ashes.
“It was located on someone’s lawn near Stonemanor Avenue near Taunton Road in Whitby. Please call Cst. Nickle at 905-579-1520. ext. 2027 if you have any information,” DRPS said.
