The time has arrived for Chief-for-a-Day contest winner, Abrielle Sawyer-Danis, to fulfill her duties in what promises to be a fun-filled day.
The following is the itinerary of events she will be participating in, on Tuesday October 22 (times are subject to change):
8:35 a.m. – Chief Abrielle will be picked up at Ecole elementaire catholique Corpus-Christi (362 Hillside Ave, Oshawa) and driven to Regional Headquarters in Whitby.
9:00 a.m. – Change of Command Oath of Office – Regional Headquarters in Whitby
9:45 a.m. – Central West Division – Traffic Services Branch tour
10:15 a.m. – Operational Training Centre – Use of Force demonstration
10:50 a.m. – Operational Training Centre – Communications/911 tour
11:30 a.m. – Central East Division – Lunch
12:45 p.m. – Forensic Identification Unit
2:00 p.m. – Air1 fly by (weather permitting)
3:30 p.m. – Conclusion of Duties
