Meanwhile, the Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of two temporary road closures on Hibbard Drive and Rossland Road West due to ongoing construction at Harwood Avenue North, from Kerrison Drive West to Rossland Road West, in the Town of Ajax.

When: Hibbard Drive will be closed from July 6 to 7. Rossland Road West will be closed on July 8.

Where: Hibbard Drive and Rossland Road West, at Harwood Avenue North, in the Town of Ajax.

Why: To safely construct a new watermain.

Note: Traffic will be diverted by a signed detour route. Municipal construction projects include the use of equipment which may cause noticeable noise and vibration for nearby residents. The Region realizes that the construction work will be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible.
