Works on Stevenson, Taunton and Cedar Valley Blvd

From tomorrow Monday, August 24 until approximately Friday, September 18, preventive maintenance works will be carried out on Stevenson Road North, Taunton Road West and  Cedar Valley Boulevard.

Trans-Northern Pipelines Inc. (TNPI) will be conducting work as part of its preventative maintenance program. Residents, visitors, and businesses in the Oshawa areas of Stevenson Road North, Taunton Road West, and Cedar Valley Boulevard can expect to see activity related to the work beginning the week of August 24, 2020, said a city announcement.

Landowners adjacent to the work location, may be contacted by TNPI’s land agents Vertex with further information on what type of activities will be occurring.

The safety of the community, the environment, and the pipeline is TNPI’s top priority. The work is a preventative measure that TNPI employs to visually inspect the pipeline and, if necessary, make any preventative repairs required. This work is conducted on a regular basis along the pipeline and are part of our proactive approach to pipeline safety. The work should take approximately 4 weeks, the announcement said.
