Zach Hyman to be at Rogers Hometown Hockey

Whitby: Zach Hyman from Maple Leafs will be joining Rogers Hometown Hockey today (December 29th) for a free autograph signing.

The Town of Whitby has invited fans to “bring your jerseys and get ready for a Sunday to remember”

Hyman is expected at the Iroquois Park Sports Centre from 5-6:15 pm.

Day two begins at noon.

Meanwhile, day one of Rogers Hometown Hockey got underway with lots to do, free pizza, autograph signing with hockey legends, games and more, said Mayor Don Mitchell. There was live music too.

Hockey chats and autograph signings were with NHL alumni Wayne Primeau and Keith Primeau. Former NHL star Brandon Nolan joined the activities to chat about 3|Nolans Hockey School and the impact it’s had for indigenous youth across Canada.

Fun Fact: The original Whitby Dunlops were founded from the remnants of the former Oshawa Generals junior team of 1952–53.
