$1.25 million in cash, drugs seized in raids

Durham police investigators arrested two suspects and seized over $1.25 million in cash and drugs during a three-month investigation.

In March, members of the DRPS Gun and Gang Unit concluded a three-month investigation and executed three search warrants in Toronto (two at residences and one at a financial institution). Two suspects were arrested and face numerous drug and firearm-related offences. As a result of the investigation, officers seized a loaded semi-automatic handgun, over $1 million in cash, and over $250,000 in drugs (fentanyl and cocaine).

Alexander Koralov, age 28, of Bloor Street in Toronto has been charged with 13 criminal offences, including: Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking(cocaine and fentanyl), Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and a number of firearms offences. He was held for a bail hearing.

Sobhian McMahon, age 38, of Bloor Street in Toronto has been charged with: Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (fentanyl) and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime. She was released on an Undertaking.
