Two vehicles were stopped over the past few days for over speeding way past the road limit.
On Thursday in Clarington, at Concession Road 7 east of Vannest Road, an officer stopped a driver doing 132 km/hr in a 70 kmh zone. This driver was charged with Stunt Driving and lost his vehicle for 7 days.
Additionally at Taunton Road & Grandview Street, another driver was caught doing 109 km/hr in a 60 km/hr zone. 1 more km/hr and the vehicle would have been impounded for 7 days with a Stunt Driving Charge.
