A third suspect has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery of an Oshawa pharmacy in October.
On October 18 at about 3:20 pm, four male suspects entered the Eastview IDA Pharmacy on King Street armed with knives. They jumped the pharmacy counter and made a demand for drugs. They took an undisclosed amount of prescription drugs before fleeing to an awaiting vehicle. Two staff members received minor injuries after being assaulted. Two previous suspects were arrested, said a police statement.
On December 1 a search warrant was executed at a residence on Darcel Avenue in Mississauga. A number of items were seized including a quantity of narcotics.
A 15-year-old male from Mississauga has been charged with Robbery with Offensive Weapon, Disguise with Intent, Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purposes, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Exceed $5,000, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 and a number of drug-related charges. He was held for a bail hearing.
