19-year-old male charged with impaired driving

On August 6, an officer from North Division responded to a call for an impaired driver in Beaverton. The call came for a vehicle that was all over the road and subsequently ended up pulling over for fuel.

The driver went inside to pay for his fuel and to purchase a slice of pizza. Witnesses ID’d the male that was driving the vehicle, and when officers approached, he was showing signs of impairment. The male confirmed that he was the driver. The driver provided two suitable breath samples and blew over the legal limit.

A 19-year-old male from Quebec has been charged with: Impaired operation by alcohol, impaired operation exceed and fail to comply with an undertaking. The vehicle is impounded for seven days and his drivers licence suspended for 90 days.
