Durham Police are investigating after a 27-year-old man was shot and killed in Ajax early Monday morning.
On December 27, at approximately 2 am, members from West Division attended a Denny Street residence for a report of a male who had been shot. Officers located the victim inside a residence. EMS arrived and the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The deceased has been identified as Franklin Owusu, 27, of Ajax, said a police statement.
It did not mention any other details, including anything about a suspect(s).
Investigators from the Major Crime Branch Homicide Unit are investigating.
